Creation of a Template-Guided Geometric Weld Seam Measurement


Working with the optical analyzer Qeye 800 for macro weld specimens is a simple and efficient way of carrying out geometric analyses of weld seams. Dual operation of a hardness tester with a Qeye 800 is also possible. The advantages are obvious. On the one hand, a standardized test report is created, where the results of both devices can be output in one report. On the other hand, QpixControl2 can be used to operate both devices with a central software. A template mode simplifies the working method for standardized components and minimizes the sources of error from incorrect measurement many times over.
